My first engagement shoot was very special to me, because it was one of my best friends, and old roommate and her fiance. It was a very fun shoot, and a beautiful couple!
Little fun fact...Tyler has eyebrows with loads of personality.
Who doesn't love a shoot with Ollie?! I was honored!
The next shoot I did was with Paul, one of our best friends. He is one cool guy. He's a very talented bass guitar player, so we decided to have a mini shoot just him and his bass. We had a blast...so I can promise you there will be another shoot to come.
If any children have stolen my heart, it's these two. Cypress and Cory Wayne. Two children with BIG personalities and LOTS of energy! They are family...so I am a little biased, but they are two of my favorite people in the whole world! I have learned quickly that when you're doing a shoot with children patience is a requirement. I also learned that children provide you with such raw and natural expressions...allowing me to capture photographs like these.
Lately, I've been busy with Senior sessions which are totally fun! I get to do lots of different looks and locations. Also, it's fun to portray these seniors interests and hobbies through the lens. I have been pleasantly surprised with how relaxed and fun these shoots were.
I'll start with Mr. Eric Walters, we go way back! Our families are great friends, so Eric and I have known each other since he was 3! It was a fun session, because Eric and I happen to share a hobby, golf. He just happens to be way better than me! I didn't know what to expect with a senior guy...but he was very cooperative and a great model!
I had the pleasure of doing a double shoot with Eric, and Stephen Malouf. They are very similar in hobbies but unique in personality and style. It was really cool to have two friends together, which probably made it more enjoyable for the guys! Also, it was fun to have Mrs. Cindy Walters, and Mrs. Cindy Malouf with us as well. Moms always are nice to have on site.
Mr. Stephen Malouf was a wonderful guy as well! He has a very serious natural expression, but a great smile too! I really can't express how much fun I had with this shoot!
I feel so blessed to be able to love what I do, and do what I love. I have to credit a lot of that to my amazing supportive husband. Ryan has always been 100% supportive, offers advice, and most importantly believes in me and the potential in Taylor Elise Photography.
Thanks for following,
Taylor
